COHORTS

In 2027 we are introducing Cohort sessions to an expanded conference schedule.  The heart of cohorts is to provide an opportunity to strengthen the connection of individuals and teams from across our global family, whilst being trained and equipped by experienced voices in each specific ministry area. Each one is led by voices with a wealth of experience and expertise to help you reimagine or receive fresh strategy and ideas to take home. You’ll meet peers from around the movement and we recommend heading to lunch with some of them afterwards.

The conference schedule will include 3 cohort options per day, with each aimed at a variety of ministry and leadership focusses to equip and empower our movement into the future. Cohorts are hosted in various venues in or around ICC each day from 9:30am - 11am and are optional bolt-ons to help equip and inspire us in niche areas that we serve or operate in at our local churches.

Wednesday

YOUTH

Join Youth Pastors and teams from across the world to be equipped to reach, disciple, and engage youth effectively. Connect with peers and discover fresh ideas that will fuel the team you’re building or a part of.
PATHWAYS & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

The church is the locus of leadership development, and at the heart of leadership development is great discipleship. Growing churches create clear discipleship pathways with intentional opportunities to step into leadership. Get equipped with some of the tools to activate and develop workers for Kingdom harvest in greater numbers.
CREATIVE

Creative expression is a key distinctive of our movement. We are leading the way with creative solutions, expressions of worship, and communication that draws people to Jesus. Creativity brings the gospel to life. This cohort will challenge you to think differently about how we do church, expanding your thinking around how we can achieve greater reach for the gospel.

KIDS

Discover how to build an innovative culture in Kids ministry that cultivates a hunger for God and empowers children to pursue the calling He has placed on their lives. Hear fresh ideas from voices around the movement to grow your team and make your Kids ministry more effective. Open to all who lead or are part of a Kids ministry.
MARKETPLACE

Business and marketplace leaders have a vital role to play in building God’s Kingdom and shaping the world around them. This session will explore how to lead with faith, courage and conviction in the marketplace, steward influence well, and shape the culture of your industry with a Kingdom mindset.
SONGWRITING

C3 has a long history of songwriting, and at this conference we want to fan that gifting into flame across the globe. Join Amanda Gurnett from Assembly Worship and others from the movement who’ve been honing their craft, and have a deep desire for people to find their voice and lyric. Imagine songs written at the beginning of a new era of our movement being sung worldwide in our churches to exalt God! You can expect this cohort to be interactive and practical.

CHURCH PLANTING

Whether you’re decided church planters, part of a launch team, or simply sensing a call to plant, this cohort is for you. We’ll explore the essentials for church planting in today’s current climate. We’ll consider how to build momentum, establish healthy foundations, and contextualise effectively wherever God has called you. Hear from recent planters about their launch journey to learn firsthand what’s working, where they’ve had to pivot, and the pitfalls to avoid.
WORSHIP & ATMOSPHERS

In C3 Church, curating atmospheres is both essential and intentional. In this session, we’ll discuss practical strategies for creating worship environments that feel current, engaging, and full of faith regardless of your size, budget or venue. We’ll explore how worship, creativity, team culture, and attention to the Spirit work together to create space for people to encounter God.
CHURCH SUCCESSION & PLANNING

Whether you’re already navigating transition or know it’s somewhere on the horizon, this cohort will help you think and plan well. Every church will eventually face a leadership transition, and how it’s handled will shape the health of the church for years to come. Drawing from recent examples within C3, we’ll explore how to honour what has been built, prepare the next generation, and create a transition that serves the church, the team, and its future.
